Sophie Liu

Sophie recently completed her HBSc in Pathobiology, Physiology, and Immunology at the University of Toronto. Her current MSc project utilizes spheroid culture models of early human placental villus formation to investigate mechanisms underlying the pathogenesis of pre-eclampsia. She is particularly interested in obstetrics, maternal–fetal health, and translational approaches to improving pregnancy outcomes.
